About Messy Monsterz
Messy Monsterz was founded by two friends and full time Mums that love messy play and were surprised to learn that whilst other parents and carers also love messy play as much as we do they don’t love it as much as we do at home!
Messy play is focused on exploring the environment without any end goal, there is no pressure to build or produce anything. This allows children to make their own discoveries using their senses, curiosity and knowledge. They need to experience things for themselves to make sense of the material properties, what happens to them and what effect they can have on them and the world in general. Whilst exploring they are developing their eye hand coordination, fine motor skills, maths and science.
With messy play there is no right or wrong just the chance to explore. This means every child whatever their ability can benefit.
You will find messy play a very sociable experience where children can play alongside or with each other without needing to explain things verbally. But also a great way to develop your child’s vocabulary by describing sensations you experience with your child.
Early childhood experts say that babies and children learn though play, especially through unstructured and exploratory play. So not only is messy play a lot of fun it is hugely beneficial to your child’s development!
Messy Monsterz promises a different theme every week transporting your child to a different world to explore. Messy Monsterz is a class dedicated entirely to messy play empowering your child with the freedom to explore the world we have created. As parents and carers you can share their wonder of the new sensations they experience with the knowledge that all materials used are safe and non-toxic with the added bonus that you don’t have to clear up the mess!
